Rose grew up and saw her mom pass before her eyes.
Witnessing her mum's death, Rusti realized that if things didn't change she herself would die alone due to the fact that her daughter despised her and she had no one to truly call her soulmate. Her mum's last words were "at least...make peace...with Elaine..." before closing her eyes for good.
With Mint gone, Rusti vowed to do just that.
She took steps to change her own ways by:
-Fixing her relationship with Elaine
-Looking at her many relationships and reducing them to only a few. She figured it would be easier to find The One that way.
-Eventually finding The One and marrying them proper.
Rusti ended up finding a woman who loved her for ALL of her flaws. They married in the dream wedding that Megan had only dreamed about for her daughter. Inviting everyone of the family that were still alive. It was a daytime wedding, so of course the fact that Robyn and Rumor -couldn't- attend only fualed the Vampiric fire.
